As soon as you pass the PMP exam, you will be anxious to see your name on the PMI online certification registry.
PMI registryis a place where PMP credential holders canverify PMP certification online.
I passed two PMI certification exams: thePMP on December 13th, 2010,PMI-RMP on April 9th, 2012, and I had the same feeling.
In both cases, I received congratulatory emails from PMI within 24 hours, and then I was able to see my certification information in my PMI account and on the PMI online certification registry.
This is what I experienced in 2010 and 2012.
However, as of October 2019, it takes longer to receive the congratulatory email. You will get it within one week, sometimes two. Then your name will show up on the PMI online certification registry.
Many aspirants did not see their names in this PMP registry even after receiving the congratulatory message. It took another week for their names to show up on the PMI certification registry. This causes panic among successful exam takers.
Therefore, you should wait at least one week from the day you receive your congratulatory email, and then you should contact the PMI’s customer care for information on your status.
Summary
It takes one to two weeks for professionals to receive their congratulatory email, and then they can check their status on the PMI registry. In some cases, your name might show up later. This is normal and you should wait at least two weeks from the day you passed the PMP exam. If you still don’t receive the congratulatory email or your name is not showing up on the PMI online registry, contact customer care. Be sure to keep the result report that you were given in the Pearson VUE center safely.

For my PMP and RMP it took about 24 hours to get the congratulatory email. Passed my ACP yesterday but haven’t received anything yet.
Some times it takes a few days. I would suggest you wait for at least one week and then contact PMI customer care.

Same issues as above i managed to pass my PMP exam on 5th of Jan 16, it has been more than 5 days but congrats email nor registry update from PMI. This make me nervous. I called the local chapter to inquire that are the pro metric results full and final. Like I got a printed note from the pro metric showing the PMP result as Pass.
Is this ok or is there any thing to worry about?

I have the same issue. passes the PMP 4 days ago and nothing, no congratulations email, no change to my profile and no addition to the registry. I also sent an email to[email protected]and never got a reply. I then called 610-356-4600, was on hold for 5 minutes. Finally I got a hold of a rep and they said they are weeks behind in their queue. From what I sense is they are very under staffed at the moment.

I was following your blog for quite sometime . Today I took the PMP exam and passed in first attempt.
In my case the time expired as soon as I finished answering the 200th question. I got a dialog button In which time out mesg was there. As soon as I pressed it the system rebooted . I think this is a bug in PMI/Prometric software as I can see some others also faced the same issue . I panicked at that time thinking that my data may not be captured . I called the support guy . He asked to me wait more minutes . Nothing happened . I panicked more . Then I went upto the helpdesk . The support guy then took me to another system . Did something . After that the feedback page reappered and later I got the msg that I have cleared the exam .
Hopefully I should get the confirmation mail from PMI.

Regarding rebooting after submission, it happens with everyone that once you click the submit button, it reboots. I have also experienced it.

Sometimes it takes time to receive the mail. I suggest you check online registry now.

You still have two attempts left with you to pass the exam.
1) If your eligibility period is not expired, you don’t have to update your application form; i.e. no need to add your experience in your application from October to till date.
2) Did you mean audit? No, as per my knowledge, you are not going to audit when you reapply for the exam.

I passed my PMP about 24 hours back and still didn’t receive any email from PMI. I am not seeing any status update on my account either.
I will wait for few more days before calling them.

Hello Ali, congratulations for passing the PMP exam. Regarding the PMI registry, I think that it is not yet updated because of holidays. Hope within couple of days you would be able to see your name there.
No, you can not print your certificate; however, you can print your exam test report. You will get your hard certificate within six week. And as per my best knowledge you can not fast track the delivery process.
Anyway, just contact the PMI customer care and keep hope alive.

Hello Shibu, Congratulations for passing the PMP exam.
You can safely remove your name from the PMI Online Certification Registry once your name starts appearing there.
Steps are as follows:
Login to you account => Click on “My Profile” => Click on “My certification info” => Click “Edit Registry Options”
Now, from here you can remove your name from PMI Online Certification Registry.
